Baburaj V R is the Creative Head and Managing Director of Abhilash Architects, a Civil, Architecture and Interior consultancy and build firm in Kollam , Kerala. Mr. Baburaj V R founded Abhilash Group around 32 years back in the year 1985. Today after the completion of nearly 900 projects that range from commercial buildings to premium residences, hospital to hospitality projects, school, colleges, and various religious structures. Abhilash Architects is one of the leading architectural firms in Kollam, Kerala.

With a graduate degree in Civil Engineering from TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, Mr. Baburaj V R’s vision of ‘Reviving architecture with the trend’ stretches beyond imagination and can be witnessed in every project executed. The team of skilled professionals that formed by Abhilash Architects headed by Mr.Baburaj has bought about the ‘Renaissance of Kollam’ through innovative concepts and designs.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Baburaj is an ardent devotee of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the spiritual, philosophical leader and founder of the Art of living Organisation. He was blessed to travel alongside Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to various countries like U.S, France, Germany, Russia, Spain, Japan and Srilanka.

He also had the esteemed honor of designing residence of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Bangalore along with the designing the first Art of Living Temple of Knowledge in Kollam and several Art of Living Ashrams across Kerala. Baburaj with his team from Abhilash Group have also designed various mansions for esteemed personalities in South Kerala that ranging from 1000sqft to 25,000sqft.

He is the former Kerala state chairman of the VVKI for the Art of Living Organisation. Now he presently holds the position of chairman of the VDS, Vedic Dharma Sansthan of the Art of Living and is Chairman of Sri Sri Academy, the Art of Living International School.

Mr.Baburaj and his wife Mrs. Renu Baburaj are blessed with three children; Arya, Archa and Abhilash.
